What ever happened to American Freedoms?
The United States of America and its potential best and most prominent citizens made the ultimate commitment to fighting in wars to protect the rights, liberties and freedoms of the world. The Bill of Rights and our Constitution provide us with the right to life, liberty and pursuit of justice. Yet, many Americans and their leaders seem to be more concerned about protecting only their own interests and political agendas than protecting all of the freedoms we enjoy. Unfortunately, particularly in recent times, we have been observing, polarization over the common good and an escalation in vitriol and apparently, prejudicial rhetoric, instead of protecting freedoms and liberties for all our citizens. Let's look at just a few examples of warning signs that we shouldn't ignore and/or ignore. 1.
